DESCRIPTION:Comic artist Jon Chad teaches kids to create comics and develop 
 their visual storytelling skills in this six-part series\, with the option 
 to table at November's Non-Fiction Comic Festival at FFL. Space is

 Comic?\n\n\n	Understanding comics as a storytelling format & building 
 comfort to share ideas.\n\n\nWeek 2: Characters & Expression.\n\n\n	Create 
 an original main character and strengthen observational & drawing 
 skills.\n\n\nWeek 3: Story Beginnings\, Middles & Ends.\n\n\n	Learn simple 
 story arcs & begin planning a personal comic story\, translating ideas into 
 structured stories.\n\n\nWeek 4: Panels\, Pacing & Speech 
 Bubbles.\n\n\n	Experiment with page layouts & how panel size & layout 
 affect storytelling building clarity and communication.\n\n\nWeek 5: Guest 
 artist workshop.\n\n\n	Artist shares process\, showing creative careers as 
 attainable & building confidence through mentorship.\n\n\nWeek 6: 
 Finishing\, Sharing & Celebration.\n\n\n	Finalize comics\, completing a 
 self-directed project.\n
