The Non-Fiction Comic Festival is on Saturday, November 15, 2025!

Volunteer descriptions are listed below.

General Requirements:

• Be at least 14 years of age;
• Commit to at least one three-hour shift;
• Attend a mandatory 20-minute briefing session in advance of the festival

Volunteers will be needed for the following positions:

Exhibitor Happiness Volunteer
Volunteer assists exhibitors in the Main Reading room. Making sure everyone has water, can find Green Room and Restrooms and looks after their table if they need to leave it. Previous experience with event coordination is preferred but not required. 

November 15:  4 Open Positions. 3hr shifts

Programming Volunteers 

Volunteers assist programming throughout the day, directs attendees to programming rooms, ensure programming runs smoothly and on time.

November 15th: 3 Open Positions, 2hr and 3hr shifts

AV Volunteers

Volunteer helps setup AV for authors/speakers. Knowledge of computers and Audio-Visual equipment required. 4hr shifts

November 15th: 1 Open Position 3-5pm

Greeters - FILLED!

Volunteers welcome people attending the festival and provide guidance to help them find the programs they want to attend. Provide general directions to areas of the Library. 

November 15th: 0 Open Positions, 3pm-6pm only
